Paralegal Benefits
- Access to in-house legal advice – available 24 hours a day telephonically or at branches, via email or on the web during business hours
- Debt services (settlement negotiations etc.)
- Family services (child maintenance, antenuptial contracts, uncontested divorces)
- Also, Civil services (mediation to forums such as CCMA, referral to Small Claims Court etc.)
Insurance Benefits
- Cover for the main member as well as a spouse or life partner and children under 18.

Exclusions – LegalWise Legal Cover
All benefits are subject to a 3-month waiting period as well as the following exclusions:
- Business activities
- Issues around matrimony (marriage, divorce, custody negotiations)
- Defamation claim by the member
- Class actions
- Dispute with the value below R5000
- Any matters in which member is an officer, trustee, spokesperson etc.
- Matters where there is an option to pay a fine without conviction
- Matters that pre-exist joining LegalWise
- Also, Any act that aims to promote political, social, environmental or economic change
Added benefits
- Cash payout for legal costs in the event of the main member dying accidentally
- No premiums to be paid for six months if retrenched or disabled (totally or temporarily)
Money back guarantee – premiums refunded if you change your mind during the three-month waiting period (provided no benefits have been received)
